Norman Pattiz Gives an Insight into the Upcoming Norman Lear’s Podcast

As announced by PodcastOne CEO and founder Norman Pattiz, Norman Lear was set to bring his voice to address issues to do with various subjects including politics, family, current events, social issues and much more. The show was meant to feature unique perspectives of politicians, celebrities as well as everyday folk. Together with his friend, sidekick, composer, and actor Paul Hipp, they were scheduled to appear on the weekly podcast.

 

The celebrity guests who had come much earlier included Julia Louis-Dreyfus, America Ferrera, Amy Poehler and Jerrod Carmichael. The conversation topics here included basketball talents that pitting Louis-Dreyfus’ son against Julia, race in the media that was handled by Carmichael, religion with Poehler and triathlon training with Ferrera. This podcast was scheduled to debut on May 1, 2017, so that new episodes were to be availed each Monday through iTunes, PodcastOne.com, and the PodcastOne app.

 

Almost turning 95, Norman Lear has surely lived a life full of talents. He has undertaken active roles in the entertainment industry writing, creating, developing and producing not less than 100 television shows. At one time, he had up to nine shows running at the same time. President Clinton awarded him the National Medal of the Arts for his role in founding the liberal advocacy group known as People for the American Way that had 300,000 members. For ten years, Lear moved around the 50 states with the original copy of the “Declaration of Independence.”
